Autumn greetings!

At last month’s FFO meeting, we learned 8th Grade Promotion will be held at the high school this year! Planning has begun, please contact us if you are interested in volunteering for this milestone event. We encourage adults with 6th and 7th graders to get involved and pay it forward! 

At this month’s FFO meeting, the FFO will discuss the fast approaching Color Run event. This event is a fun activity for students and their families, and it is a fundraiser for our FFO. 

We hope to see you at the meeting or on Zoom!

Congratulations to the LeRoy Family of the Month for November 2025!

The LeRoy Family donated to the FFO Panther Pride Fundraising Campaign in October and was automatically entered to become our November Panther Family of the Month! 
Please make your donation today – you might be the December Family of the Month! 
The winner of the Family of the Month is displayed on the marquee, can choose an item of Spirit Wear from our inventory or have their very own designated parking spot for the month, and is recognized in every FFO communication! Your donations continue to provide funds for classroom supplies, staff appreciation events, grants, legacy projects, promotion, and many more activities that make Orange Grove so special!

Staff Appreciation Committee Update

The FFO is hosting a Thanksgiving potluck lunch for our teachers and staff on Thursday, November 20th, and we need your help! Please consider signing up for an item or two to make this a bountiful feast for our incredible OGMS team!

Drop off your item(s) in the front office between 7 and 10 am on Thursday, 11/20. Please bring your items in disposable containers, or label reusable items with your name to ensure their safe return.

Consider sticking around for our FFO meeting at 8:30am in the library to hear about all the amazing things your dollars and volunteer hours support!

Short on Time But Still Want to Help Orange Grove? 
Fulfilling wish lists can be a great way to help OGMS if you aren’t able to volunteer on campus! Throughout the year, we have teachers and staff who are in need of specific items for their classrooms and work areas.  
Examples include:
  • Kleenex, saltine crackers, and water bottles for the nurse’s office
  • School supplies for teachers to replenish their classrooms
  • Items to stock our family support closet for students in need of assistance

Our Panthers love having the GAME ROOM available and OPEN during lunch. Please come check out the fun and consider volunteering to help during one of the lunchtime shifts. 

You can Sign-Up to be a lunch volunteer during any of the three lunch periods. More details can be found on the sign-up genius. Thank you!

  • Register your Fry’s VIP card.  
  • Designate Orange Grove Middle School Family Faculty Org. as your organization.
  • You have to re-enroll every year in September.
