TUCSON, Ariz. — Catalina Foothills School District (CFSD) announced today that every K–12 school in the district has earned an “A” letter grade from the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) for the 2024–2025 school year. CFSD is the only school district in Southern Arizona that earned straight A's.

The letter grades, released through ADEConnect, reflect each school’s performance on statewide academic assessments, growth measures, graduation rates, and indicators of college and career readiness. The results follow the State Board of Education’s approval of new cut scores on Monday.

“We are incredibly proud of our students, teachers, and staff,” said Dr. Denise Bartlett, Superintendent of Catalina Foothills School District. “These results reflect the hard work happening in every classroom, every day. Earning ‘A’ ratings across all of our schools highlights the strength of our academic programs, our focus on continuous improvement, and our unwavering commitment to excellence.”

CFSD’s schools—Catalina Foothills High School, Esperero Canyon Middle School, Orange Grove Middle School, Canyon View Elementary School, Manzanita Elementary School, Sunrise Drive Elementary School, and Ventana Vista Elementary School—all earned “A” ratings under the state’s accountability system.

The district’s strong performance continues a long tradition of academic excellence and innovation that has made CFSD one of Arizona’s top-performing public school districts.

“We are grateful to our families and community for their continued support,” said Dr. Bartlett. “These results are a collective achievement that truly belongs to everyone in the Catalina Foothills community.”
