Who we are
A strong public school system benefits everyone; tax dollars alone aren’t enough. Thriving schools require community participation—time, talent, and financial support. In short: a great public school education isn’t free.
Founded in 1983, the Catalina Foothills School District Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) led by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees. We raise supplemental funds to attract, develop, and retain excellent teachers in CFSD. While our early years funded classroom materials, since 1998 we’ve focused on what most impacts students—mentorship and professional learning for educators.
This year’s goal: $150,000
State and federal funding do not cover the CFSD's new teacher training costs. Your gift sustains Great Beginnings – Systems for Success, CFSD’s three-year teacher training and mentoring program. 100% of our proceeds go to CFSD to fund Great Beginnings across the district.
